Plenty Productions is a community interest (i.e. not for profit) company that facilitates high quality, collaborative, community-based arts and media projects.

We work
 in partnership with local communities where a need is identifiedusing media to empower rather than to exploitin arts, heritage and media across the wider cultural sector

We specialise in projects that focus on Black and minority ethnic issues, and projects that involve broadcast partners.

We also undertake consultancy projects that relate to issues of access and inclusion in the arts and media.

 

Sarah-Profile

Sarah Naomi Lee is Creative Director

Sarah was brought up in London with a Jamaican father and English mother. After graduating with a degree in English Literature, she worked as a teacher, community worker and researcher in Cornwall, Ghana and Brighton. Sarah has written two radio plays for the BBC, which were broadcast on Radio 3 in 2007 and Radio 4 in 2009. She has also worked as a radio producer for BBC local radio.

Alan-Profile

 

Professor Alan Cawson is Technical Director

Alan was Professor of Digital Media at the University of Sussex until 2005, and introduced one of the first masters courses in digital media in the UK. He was a founder board member of Wired Sussex, and since leaving Sussex has worked on internet-related educational projects in Brighton and Ghana. He has published extensively on new media, communications technologies and innovation.
